Increase energy efficiency? Our team of experts from ENGIE Refrigeration is happy to take on this challenge in Paris - and exceeds the customer's expectations by far. In supplying the Paris Opera and its surroundings with district cooling, those responsible not only succeeded in significantly increasing the energy efficiency of the applications, but even doubling it compared to large standard oil turbo chillers. The EER value under full load conditions is 4.2; under partial load it is 9.4. This impressive result is made possible by ten QUANTUM Power chillers, which generate a total output of 25 megawatts for the production of district cooling.

Delivering the best district cooling - increasing energy efficiency

The systems not only increase energy efficiency, but also score points for their ideal serviceability thanks to their modular design. Thanks to their compactness, the chillers make particularly effective use of space resources. For transportation, the project team simply dismantled the control cabinet and the containers and reassembled them on site. Another plus point is the outstanding cooling capacity, which offers the best conditions for generating district cooling. The cooling and heating specialists have remote access to the chillers at all times via the CoolCare remote maintenance software. This allows the customer to benefit from ongoing optimization and uncomplicated remote troubleshooting.
