Our team of experts met these requirements in full by using tailor-made refrigeration technology to air-condition the office building. Two QUANTUM Air chillers with a total cooling capacity of 1.2 megawatts above the rooftops of the Hanseatic city reliably supply the office space with cooling. They replace five previous machines, some of which were no longer functional and therefore had immense operating costs.

Thanks to the integration of free cooling in one of the two chillers, the high operating costs for air conditioning the office building are history. This is because the free cooling system kicks in as soon as the ambient temperature is below the chilled water temperature. As a result, the compressors of the machines pause during this time and therefore operate with maximum efficiency and in an environmentally friendly manner. In addition, both air-cooled QUANTUM chillers run with the future-proof refrigerant R-1234ze. The refrigeration technology for air conditioning the office building is also adapted to the environmental factors of the Hanseatic City of Hamburg: Protective grilles prevent seagulls or other birds from interfering with system operation. In addition, the condensers are corrosion-resistant - important in view of Hamburg's harbor air.
