Test beds allow important operating data to be measured for chillers and heat pumps – including performance, temperature, pressure and flow rate. The ENGIE Refrigeration head office in Lindau is home to a total of four test beds: one test bed for air-cooled chillers, and three for water-cooled chillers. Three of them cover a refrigeration capacity of up to 1.5 megawatts, while the fourth is suitable for capacities of up to six megawatts. They help us ensure that our systems are reliable and energy-efficient before we deliver them to our customers.
The thermeco2 high-temperature heat pump from ENGIE Refrigeration offers excellent COP values in a temperature range of up to +90 degrees Celsius. This is especially true when heating and cooling are required at the same time. Through simultaneous heating and refrigeration, the heat pump achieves high output values and maximum efficiency. It is also particularly climate-friendly, as it utilises CO2 as a natural and low-cost refrigerant. The thermeco2 meets the requirements of various funding programs.
